Hi my name is JJ Cortez, i am the 6th grade counselor here at JLMS. I taught for 5 years, and I am going on my 5th year as a middle school counselor. I received my BA in Liberal Studies from CSU Monterey Bay and my Masters and PPS credential in Counseling Education through San Jose State University.
I was born and raised in Salinas, California and I am going on my 2nd year living here in SF. I danced traditional Mexican Folklorico for 9 years. In my spare time I like to take yoga classes and go to the gym.
